About this concert
LUXEMBOURG SOUNDS LIKE… is a music showcase event organized by music:LX, Luxembourg’s music export office, the purpose of which is to show the world, what Luxembourg talent really looks and sounds like. Together, music lovers, music professionals and taste-makers of the industry will discover fresh up & upcoming acts that are breaking through to the international circuit. Luxembourg Sounds Like… is back in Hamburg and will be held at the Molotow, Skybar on November 1st. The line up includes: Seed to Tree, the Pop/Folk Indie band who aren’t shy when it comes to putting on a good show. The band has a flirtatious relationship with indie pop and indie folk, incorporating colourful pop melodies and contrasting them with folk-like harmonies and lyrics. EDSUN, a young R&B artist who has been making waves and turning heads with every release and show so far. His R&B soundscapes are married with subtle and dark beats. His use of contemporary dance in his live shows is what makes Edsun so intriguing. TUYS, the 4-piece from a small town with a big indie sound. They have an indie quality to their songs, tainted with alternative rock that carries a contagious and danceable energy. The Luxembourg Sounds Like… in Hamburg is a free event, but note the capacity is limited to 150 people. So don’t be late! 20:50 – 21:20 SEED TO TREE 21:40 – 22:10 EDSUN 22:30 – 23:00 TUYS

Seed to Tree Biography

Exactly three years after the release of their debut LP "Wandering", the band is ready to reveal their new album.
These past years, Seed to Tree have been touring a lot in Europe, playing festivals like Reeperbahn Festival and supporting bands such as Beirut, Villagers and The Temper Trap. These experiences and new maturity clearly left their traces in the band’s recent sound. The new album, named "Proportions", sounds darker compared to their past work, leading to a musical world that is breaking with their traditional influences and questioning the emotional, intellectual and spiritual proportions within ourselves and society

"Proportions" comes out on March 22nd on popup-records.
