Their new album 'The Next Mutation' has just been released and you'll be treated to a live performance that's gonna rock your Synthwave world!.. totally rad! As always Neon Vice will bring all the best that the synthwave scene has to offer with some awesome DJ sets, with cross over into progressive n trance areas while keeping to the retro future 80s vibe that the night is all about.. Emulate Music Biography
Emulate is the electronic music project of Sydney based DJ & Producer Keith McMurray. His sound is inspired by his passion for trance and progressive peppered with a unique injection of the nostalgic sounds of a retro age.
In recent times Emulate has embraced the exploding 'synthwave' scene, culminating in partnering with such artists as Phaserland (Detroit) and Jordan F (Sydney). Most recently he's worked with Ministry of Sound legend Mark Dynamix establishing the 'Neon Vice' club night in Sydney.
Signed to Central Station records in 2016, with an EP and remixes under his belt, Keith's passion for independence led him to establish his own label 'Construct Records'. Through his label, Emulate has released tracks and podcasts every month, showcasing the latest in trance and progressive mixed in with synthwave.
Behind the decks, Keith is a genius. Enthusiastic and a crowd pleaser, his sets guarantee punters a dance floor experience like no other. They are treated to Emulate originals, un-released tracks and a musical ride that traverses everything from progressive disco tracks that build into progressive house and trance, all with a dash of retro nostalgia: the Emulate sound.
