Cashmere Williams

In 1995, he was accepted into Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where he studied arranging and recorded his first self-titled CD. In 2003, he toured with American Idol winner Ruben Studdard appearing on shows: Jay Leno, Ellen DeGeneres, David Letterman, The View and many more! Recently, he was voted "Best Male Jazz Artist" by The Alabama Music Awards two years in a row, an award given to the most talented artists in the Southeast Region. His latest release "Uptown" recorded on his own label Lenoah Records made it on the "Smooth Jazz Charts" where his song "Step" remained for 10 weeks straight. Now, Cashmere has recorded a Gospel/Jazz EP titled "Awesome" with a blend of popular praise and worship songs as well as a few originals!
