The Kennedys return to Musical Lairs House Concert with a brand new CD! Doors open at 7:30 Music begins at 8:00 Suggested donation is $20-$25, plus finger food to share at the break. Contact Lee at leeabowers@outlook.com for reservations and directions. What is a House Concert, Anyway? Simply put - it's live acoustic music in a private living room with an audience of friends, both new and old, and great food that everyone brings to share. The host provides beverages. The music is outstanding - these are very talented musicians. Most tour professionally, usually nationally, some even internationally. They write their own music. They have CDs. They have great stories to tell. Lee Bowers books the talent and the venue, including her own home. She does this for FUN, for the joy of hearing live music in an intimate atmosphere, and to support independent artists. Hello fello Music Fans
We drove from Savannah GA to see the Kennedys in person for the first time
We went with daughters family, and brothers family to a small venue-Live at Teds
Maura and Pete Kennedy were beyond all expextaions.
Pete is the most amazing guitarist/ musician I have ever witnessed in person.
Maura, song writer, guitar player/singer is better in person than even her videos.
Their original music is exceptional. The cover songs wonderfully done!
After a susbstanial career- their newest music album is one of their best.
We will travel to see them again whenever reasonable.

In a career that now spans two decades, New York duo Maura and Pete Kennedy have traversed a broad musical landscape, surveying power pop, acoustic songwriting, organic rock rooted in their early days in Austin, and a Byrds-inspired jangle that drew the attention of McGuinn, Steve Earle, and most notably Nanci Griffith. The duo co-produced Nanci’s latest CD, and are currently touring the US and the British Isles with the Texas songstress.
