It makes a fitting end to the Mid-days' season to welcome the Manchester Chamber Choir to The Bridgewater Hall, which won’t be at all unfamiliar to them. They have attracted a wide and enthusiastic following since their inception in 2002, and their programme of English part-songs is bound to prove very attractive. \nThey have developed a reputation for great flexibility and versatility, and have forged partnerships with a very diverse range of musicians, and will round off our year of music-making in great style.\nSponsored by The Ida Carroll Trust.\nProgramme:\nBridge - Music when Soft Voices Die; The Bee \nBritten - 5 Flower Songs: To Daffodils; The Succession Of The Four Sweet Months; Marsh Flowers; The Evening Primrose; Ballad Of Green Broom \nParry - Four Songs Of Farewell: My Soul, There Is A Country; There Is An Old Belief; At The Round Earth’s Imagined Corners; Lord, Let Me Know Mine End
