Sawyer’s Dream is honored to return to the 2nd Annual “Music Unites Against Bullying” Festival on Saturday, September 22nd. Hosted by "Music Unites Against Bullying" in partnership with "Books Against Bullying", this fundraiser includes raffles, prizes, food, and fun activities for kids. Featuring live music by: Sawyer's Dream, Cosmic Fuse, The DNR Duo, Carolina Mic, Strike 13, Tommy Gun, Spychoprowler Held outdoors in front of the South St. Paul VFW Post 295 (weather permitting). 2pm-10pm. Sawyer's Dream performs at 3:15pm. Half the proceeds raised will go to benefit the Shine A Ligh7 foundation, and the other half will benefit the MUAB scholarship fund which will support kids in SSP who are furthering their education. Inspired by the writings of Mark Twain and the vocal harmonies of bands such as the Mamas & the Papas, ABBA and Bread, Minneapolis based Sawyer's Dream is a unique cross-blending of Americana, Pop, Rock and Soul. Featuring powerhouse male and female vocals and intricate four-part harmonies, their all-original music is engaging, upbeat and earthy, offering the listener a modern take on the classic rock of the '60s and '70s. Sawyer's Dream includes visual and imaginative lyrical masterpieces focusing on themes of love, life, dreams, the natural, and the supernatural.
