Steffen Zeichner, violinist

Steffen Zeichner is a Grammy nominated creative violinist. A native of Gainesville, Florida, Steffen is a versatile musician who currently plays with a multitude of ensembles within jazz, classical, and rock settings. He is the violinist of the Swing and Gypsy Jazz band Rhythm and Tonic, which regularly presents shows throughout South Florida.

Steffen is also a passionate educator who focuses on developing the creative potential of string players.

Throughout his career Steffen has performed with a variety of top artists including Chick Corea, Gloria Estefan, Cyrille Aimee, Kenny Loggins, Ben Folds, Maria Schneider, and George Benson, with whom he was featured as the violin soloist and concertmaster for Benson's 2013 album, "Inspiration".

Steffen holds a BM from Indiana University, a MM from the University of Miami, and is completing his Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in violin performance at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music.
