The Regent Biography
” Replete with fast and pummeling beats, catchy, melodic riffs and strong bass lines, the band’s debut will surprise fans of artists like Strike Anywhere, Anti Flag and Propagandhi and will surely prove why The Regent are considered one of the most promising Norwegian bands nowadays.” – New Noise Magazine
No longer content with spectating from the cheap seats on humanity’s world-wide battle royale, The Regent throws down the gloves with their debut album Political Fiction – a stockpile of power and intensity that is a tip-of-the-hat to the greats – Propagandhi, Anti-Flag, Descendents, Bad Religion, NOFX – that have gone before them.
Launching crude rockets in to the hearts and minds of our fellow planet-dwellers with reflections on subjects ranging from the preposterous idea of equality for the half of the population that do not possess phalluses, to the severe cognitive dissonance of coincidentally residing in a prospective society, all the while damning those who did not have the good sense to be born in to such fortune, who dare to knock on our doors to ask for shelter after the bombs we helped create destroyed their homes.
