Bill Evans Banjo Biography
The author of "Banjo For Dummies," five-string banjo player Bill Evans is well-known for his teaching, writing, performing and composing in a career that now spans over thirty-five years. His latest CD "In Good Company" features 26 guest musicians, including The Infamous Stringdusters, Tim O'Brien, Joy Kills Sorrow, David Grier, Darol Anger, Mike Marshall, Laurie Lewis, Tashina & Tristan Clarridge, Rob Ickes, Stuart Duncan and many more. Bill tours internationally with his solo show called "The Banjo in America" and he teaches at many U. S. and international banjo and bluegrass music camps. He also hosts his own event, the NashCamp Sonny Osborne Banjo Camp, each fall in the Nashville, Tennessee area (www.nashcamp.com).
