Modern Day Society

Modern day society is a band comprised of four individuals with decades of writing, recording, and performance experience in several genres of music. When MDS was first formed in early 2015, the band was struggling to find its sound with their first singer. When the bands line up changed in Jan. 2016 with the addition of Angelo Ortiz as their vocalist, the direction of the bands sound and message started to take form at a rapid pace. The bands creative motivation was ramped up ten fold with Angelo on board to start working on previously written songs as well as collaborating on new ideas that play to the strength of each members skill set including Michael's classical guitar mastery and Kevin's jazz performance background. In November of 2017 Don Gillmer took over the drummer's chair for the band and has provided a new drive and in your face style to the current catalog. The first of several albums called "No Turning Back" have been finalized and made available for sale online for their fans to enjoy. The band has plans to release the second album in mid-2018 that will showcase a stylistic evolution of their sound to entertain it's fan base as well as keep themselves on their toes.
