Tannah Wilson Music

My name is Tannah Wilson I was born on February 14th, 1995. I've grown up in a Christian family throughout my whole life, gone to church, the whole deal. I was homeschooled my whole school life, first born of three kids, and was always taught to have good character and to be respectful even when it is hard. I gave my life to God at a very young age, but understood well what I was doing. My mom is a stay at home mom and my dad was a funeral director for 25 years and is currently, and has been for a few years, one of our church pastors and head of volunteers. He's also over all the behind the scenes media and production for Sunday services.
I grew up in a very musical home; my mom sang with a Christian traveling college group when she was in college, so she was always singing when I was growing up and my dad was always playing some kind of instrument. My grandma on my dad's side plays the piano and has taught my siblings and me piano since we were each 4 years old. I still take piano lessons today, even though I am a piano teacher myself. I've grown up singing and playing music at different events/locations and at church. Music is what I have always loved and from a young age I have always felt my calling for music ministry.
My aspiration is to be a Christian music artist or traveling worship leader, I know it's what God has called me to do. I work hard at my music and am striving to follow God wherever he leads me; even if it may be rough waters at some points. I LOVE to help people and be there for them, to comfort them and listen to whatever they need to share and let go of, and through music that's what I want to do. I want to go everywhere I can to show the love of Jesus Christ that I have and have experienced even in my hard times. I want to help hurting people realize they aren't alone and that God will always be there for them, and that I will always be there! Since I can’t physically be there for everyone, all the time, my hope is that through my lyrics and songs, I can reach out and be a safe, understanding place for them. I can't contain what God has done for me, and I want to share it all around the world through my music; no matter what age they are.
I don't try to be like other people and I have built my character and personality of what I know God wants me to be. That has even meant standing alone in many situations, and being left out in a lot of activities and situations throughout my life.
My love for God, I feel, shines through and shows to the people around me, especially through my music!
I am currently one of the youth leaders for my church and also help with and mentor the youth band. I also am one of the adult worship band leaders.
I am currently living in Nashville to pursue my dream and calling for music. I cant wait to see what God has in store for me!
