Kick Back For Cody is a combination welcome-back-deployers/fundraising event for the Cody Michael Harter Memorial Scholarship Fund being co-hosted by the Harter family and the 180th AS Association. A tax-deductible donation directly to the 180th Association. To cover the costs (which have been GREATLY and graciously minimized) of the food, staff and details. Only another $10 for a commemorative cup and all you can drink beer. Until it runs out, anyway. 1 raffle ticket included with more opportunities to donate for additional tickets. ALL proceeds are going to the scholarship fund. 😁 The event will be held at Moila Country Club and catered by The St. Joseph Country Club. Entertainment will include 3 live bands, a DJ, tattoos, raffles, a photo booth and more to come!!! Confirmed entertainment so far is as follows: DJ John with Funky Fish. Kadence: Led by Cody's uncle Nathan, specializing in classic rock. More details to come. Scotch Hollow: A grass-roots blues duo (sometimes more) that plays some classics as well as amazing originals. Horned Wolf: A no-apologies, bone-shaking death metal band which is not only right up Cody's alley, but a band he once considered trying out for. Bleeding Heart Tattoo (Cody's go-to shop out of Lee's Summit) will be on hand to give limited edition little snowflake tattoos during the evening as well as give you the info on their exclusive commemorative tattoo. There will be a raffle with donation items from various business around town. All entries will be tax-deductible donations. Checks can be made out to the 180th Airlift Squadron Association. There will be many items for purchase at the event such as t-shirts from Nine Line Apparel and Morale Patches. The dress code will be "Cody Casual".
