Full Service Entertainment Company...Specializing in Turn-Key Events. We can provide all the entertainment for any size event. Owners Jon Lyle and Katie Lyle
Long before the human race had devised any type of written language, both music and magic permeated our ancient cultures and helped us communicate. Often times, the shaman (or "witch doctors") of indigenous tribes were also the head musicians of the group. In fact, the most famous deity of Ancestral Pueblo people is no doubt Kokopelli, a fertility god who represented the spirit of music through his magical flute. At M & M Entertainment (Magic & Music), we continue the tradition of bringing both magic and music to the people.
Jon Lyle, founder of M & M Entertainment, learned his first magic trick when he was 7 years old. From there, Jon went on to have his first big magic show at the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City in 1975. He went on to win the National Close-Up Magician of the Year back to back in 1978-1979. Jon later became the wel-known "Tombstone Magician" at the famous Crystal Palace Saloon, has opened for many touring acts including Pam Tillis, Joe Diffie, Confederate Railroad and TG Sheppard.
Jon is assisted by his lovely wife, Katie Ballew-Lyle, who is a seasoned musician and performer. Katie is a fantastic bass player, guitar player and vocalist. She has earned a LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP into the Western Swing Music Society of the South and is also a LIFETIME member of ASCAP, she has won multiple regional awards for her efforts, and is also currently a member of the VERY POPULAR Red-Dirt/Country group..."Chad Slagle and Yesterdays Wine Band".
Together, Jon and Katie have years of experience and a working knowledge of show business, both in the music and variety world. They work closely with venues of all shapes and sizes--from music halls, amphitheaters, and music festivals, to clubs, bars, and private events. They also offer full turn-key events for those who would like to offer a music festival or large event, but aren't sure where to start. They have devoted their lives to their respective trades and now enjoy helping others to do the same--while helping them avoid many of the pitfalls artists face when first getting started.
