DJ FOQUS Biography
Cornelius better known as DJ FoQus was born and raised in Baltimore Md.Started the journey in 2010.
Specializes in hip hop, r and b, reggae, gospel, pop/Top 40 and music from all decades. Official Coppin States athletic dj. Coppin state has given him experiences with various collegiate events (step shows, parties, fashion shows, talent shows,conferences, cookouts, collegiate games, pageants).
While Foqus remains busy he always makes time to give back. He has dee jayed for programs like The Arc of Baltimore and Be Civil which is a platform for upcoming talent in Baltimore.
The passion of dee jaying came from his uncle who dee jayed in his youth. Also came from going to multiple parties as a teenager. That's where he realized how powerful music is and wanted to give people that happy feeling.
Dee jays that inspire him are DJ Jazzy Jeff, Dj Jah Lion and his mentor DJ Gully.
Inspires to DJ for athletic events at a larger scale (NBA, NFL, NCAA).Dj at college campuses all over the country. Interested in one day creating his own radio show and continue to perform at concerts, Fashion shows and private events.
