About this concert
We’ve spent the better part of 2018 creating new art to share with you. In addition to completing our second music video, this time for the song “Above The Hiding,” we also recorded and released our “With Drawl” album, and we’ve been actively writing and producing even more new material, since. Our creative commitments have kept us close to home for most of the year but we’re hitting the road for about a month in October, and we’d be honored if you’d join us at the spectacular Hawkins Amphitheater for a proper tour send-off show! We have some special surprises in store for the evening as we continue to strive to up our game as artists and performers. If you haven’t been to Hawkins Amphitheater, don’t miss this opportunity to experience one of Reno/Tahoe’s premier live music venues. We’re giddy about performing there for our second time and we sincerely hope you’ll join us! 7pm Doors 8pm Show $15 Limited Advance Tickets $20 at Gate Day of Show

The Novelists Biography
An elderly couple stands precariously on the railing of a 17-floor balcony… two teenagers unknowingly choose a murder scene for their parking date, and a young man throws off the shackles of a bullish culture. These are just a sample of the scenes in which you’ll find yourself immersed when you listen to The Novelists. Equally comfortable acoustic or electric, The Novelists showcase cliffhanger storytelling, multiple lead singers, and their signature four-part harmonies.
In 2013, they debuted The Novelists Book Club, a music subscription giving fans two original releases each month. In March 2014, they released Book One, the first of two albums chosen from the Book Club material. In addition to a headlining gig at Dallas Cowboys Stadium, The Novelists have become a mainstay on the West Coast festival, college and house concert circuits. They've shared the stage with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, John Prine, and Daryl Stuermer (Genesis).
Notable performances include: Cowboys Stadium (Dallas, TX), Strawberry Music Festival (Camp Mather, CA), California Worldfest (Grass Valley, CA), Americana Music Festival (Virginia City, NV), Black Potatoe Music Festival (Clinton, NJ), Watsonville Strawberry Festival (Watsonville, CA), The Knitting Factory (Reno, NV), Shank Hall (Milwaukee, WI – w/guest musician Daryl Stuermer of Genesis), Swallow Hill (Denver, CO), The Living Room (NY, NY)
