Mikey Blue Shoes started playing music as a child in Northern Alberta, Canada, and began writing shortly after discovering girls. For years he wrote poems and love notes until one day he discovered a way to combine his poetry with a unique style of folk music.

Using an electric guitar and a loop pedal Mikey Blue Shoes builds a melodic foundation upon which he plays delicate solos and recites his brutally honest lyrics. Sit back and let him tell you a story.
