Join Shot of Poison at this gastronomic extravaganza of Rhode Island's best seafood, lobsters, steamers, chowder, fish & chips, lobster rolls, clam cakes, corn on the cob and a raw bar, as well as an array of all types of foods for every taste. A wide variety of arts and crafts on display, amusement rides, rock wall climbing, car show, Marcolites Kite exhibition, midway entertainment, bungee jumping, kayak, overnight getaways, TV, 50/50, lobster raffle and more. Continuous entertainment and events. Music on multiple stages from noon 'til 10 PM! Shot of Poison is on the big stage from 5 PM to 7 PM, preceded by Welcome to the Jungle (Guns n' Roses tribute) at 2:30 PM, and followed by Dirty Deeds (AC/DC tribute from 8 PM to 10 PM). Shot of Poison is the world's only tribute to the 35th anniversary of the all-time greatest hard-rocking party band, Poison. Four veteran tribute musicians have created an authentic, high-fidelity Poison tribute that is the best on Earth, with accurate musicianship and costuming (2017 tour wardrobe), an accompanying video presentation, special effects (like cryo-jets and balloon drops where permitted), and a nothin'-but-a-good-time atmosphere reminiscent of seeing your favorite big-time arena-rockers.
In less than five years, Shot of Poison have achieved several milestones that most tributes never do. They have: accumulated nearly 10,000 Facebook followers; appeared in two 10,000-capacity venues; been featured on E! Entertainment's global TV series "Clash of the Cover Bands" produced by Jimmy Fallon; been recognized by and appeared on stage with Bret Michaels of Poison; and in 2022, performed alongside original stars of the '80s-rock era at the Monsters on the Mountain Festival.
The band's members have combined stage experience of over 2500 shows have previously founded successful, top-shelf tribute acts - so they know their stuff!
