About this concert
Penang Sessions is an ongoing musical event that aims to bring true music lovers the chance to listen to musical acts at fun and exciting live venues across the island. The sessions will be organized via a DIY approach, and we hope that can you be a part of this wonderful experience. The first edition will be held at Miami Beach by Batu Feringghi and will showcase local Penang talents Volatile, Simon Peter, Sky Lc of Messenger and Isaac Ho. Remember to bring a beach towel because we'll be sitting on sand! Tickets are priced at RM 10 per head. Finger food and drinks will be sold as well.

Volatile Biography

Volatile is an award-winning rock supergroup featuring some of the most notable young musicians hailing from Penang, Malaysia. The band comprises of Sean Choon on lead vocals, Jaime Gunter on lead guitar, Jordan Scully on drums, Reuben Tor on keyboard, Raul Dhillon on bass and Kishan Nadesh on rhythm guitar. Formed in 2011 between schoolmates, the band released their debut album Taking Flight in early 2015. Since then, Volatile has grown and gone on to perform for festivals across Malaysia and in Singapore, as well as winning several national competitions with their energetic live performances. The band’s drive and ambitions remain ever steadfast, and they hoping to push further still onto the global stage. It’s About Art is a project that was three years in the making, officially released on the 4th of August 2018.
