The band was founded in the Italian province of South Tyrol at the end of 2009.
The band's music genre is a mixture of progressive rock, new art rock and pop. The band describes their style as "Sym-phonic Grind Pop".
The National Orchestra of the United Kingdom of Goats has formed to cure the pain and darkness from all the lost souls that mindlessly roam this world. These four heroes have set out to tell the one true story. The one story that will save a great many and destroy the ones already far beyond redemption.
