Devils Envy Biography
Devils Envy (abbreviated as DVLSNV) is an American Rock band from Orlando, Florida formed in 2016. The band's current lineup consists of lead vocalist Angel Graves, drummer Sean St. John, lead guitarist Brian Kizer, and bassist Paul Ziccardi.
Devils Envy is known for its intense rock sound and artistic imagery. The band emerged with a heavier metalcore sound on their debut “Dead Inside EP.” Since they've started, they continue to receive support from independent U.S. active rock radio stations, and SXM Octane. In 2016, Their first release Look At Me Now" debuted on indie radio, Radio X Rock's Top 10 Hard Rock charts for nearly 8 weeks.
The band's style continued to evolve by the group's 5th release "Psycho" into a heavy metal and hard rock style; debuting on Sirius XM Octane's Test Drive, which gained the band even more attention and support from the station's most avid listeners. This single pushed the group to new heights, gaining the respect from some legendary Hard Rock acts, whom the band considers their heroes.
Devils Envy continued to explore new sounds with its previous release, a rock cover of Billie Eilish's hit song "You Should See Me In A Crown"; Released under Dark Kingdom Records / UMG (2021). The band later explained in an interview with that the song originally wasn't intended to be a cover, until vocalist Angel Graves started humming Billie's melody over their recordings, and "...it just felt right."
With their independent release through their private record label, Tone Distillery, under partnership with Symphonic Distribution, their most recent single “Lone Wolf” (Aug 5th, 2022), the band is currently being recognized by respected names in the Active Rock industry, with their single climbing the Rock Foundations Charts; The band is even seeing much success with their single being picked up by a few FM Rock radio stations across the U.S., where the station’s regular listeners, whom have never heard of the group, have been requesting their single nonstop during the last 4 weeks since its release. Bumping the single up from weekend to weekday spins.
