Lupulin glands are the small glands in the hop cone which contain hop acids and essential oils. These acids and oils are responsible for the bitterness and aromatic qualities of hops. Lupulin Fest is a one day celebration of hops, craft beer and Chicagolands finest metal acts. This year we'll be welcoming from Toronto, Ontario, WARMACHINE as well as the return of Sacred Dawn, who will be here to perform their Gears of the Machine album in its entirety. Other favorites include Divinity Compromised, Great Ballz Of Metal, Legacy Black, Mistaken EyeDentity, and an all-star jam from the Band of Monkeys! The festivities start at 1PM, we'll be featuring Chicago favorite food trucks: ROGUE Farm to Curbside Kitchen, Bricks Wood Fired Pizza - Naperville, Ayalas Empanadas, Choppa Hog BBQ and Carnivale! The fest will also see the long awaited return of Dankey Kang, our Triple IPA, available for the FIRST TIME in Cans, as well as cans of Ghuleh, a fresh batch of Bikini Bottom and RomeoPils. (please note: cans are for off-site consumption only. no exceptions) We'll also have a special tapping of Bourbon Barrel Aged Asmodeus during the Sacred Dawn set! We're asking $10 per person at the gate for entry for a days worth of entertainment; music, great craft beer and expertly crafted food! Come join us for an unforgettable fest!
