Monarchy Over Monday Biography
Monarchy Over Monday is a fast paced, high energy basement refrigerator rock band from Chicago. The band was formed in 2016 by Jake Padilla-Caldero (guitar) and Jose Ceniseros (drums) who brought on Rylan Wilder (vocal/guitar) in 2017 and Daniel Jablo (bass) in 2018. In 2017, they released their first single Plastic Friend and contributed to the album I’ll Be Around, a Wilco tribute album on Good Eye Records. The band spent most of 2017 writing their first album I’ll Talk To You, it was released July 27, 2018. Monarchy Over Monday is the 2018 Illinois State Battle of the Bands Champion and the only band under the age of 18 to finish in the top ten of The House Of Vans Share The Stage competition that featured over 150 artists from across the United States and Canada.
