ROTENGEIST

Rotengeist band was formed at the and of 2005 in Przemysl. The founder of the band was Piotr Winiarski (guit./voc.). From the beginning of its existence we focused on creating our own music. At first our band didn’t have any vocalist and after almost 2 years of fruitless searching our guitarist decided to function as a vocalist. He was a complete amateur, but now … ;) At the end of 2006 our band recorded its first demo CD. Because we hadn’t get enough financial means we decided to record this material by ourselves. Drummer Ziemowit Gawlik obliged to carry this burden. Thanks to his musical sense in the area of software this material sounds quite good… At the beginning of 2009 band recorded full length album "Fear is the Key". Release by Propaganda Promotions Discography of the group closes, recorded in 2012, the album "Start to Exterminate". According to pre-release reviews in the trade press "Start to Exterminate" is a much better album than the debut! At the beginning of 2014 the album was released by Defense Records. Zespół ROTENGEIST powstał pod koniec 2005 roku w Przemyślu. Założycielem zespołu jest Piotr Winiarski (gitara/wokal). Od początku działalności zespół skupił się na tworzeniu własnej muzyki. Początkowo grupa funkcjonowała bez wokalisty i po prawie 2 letnim okresie bezowocnych poszukiwań gardłowego funkcję tą objął gitarzysta zespołu. W tej roli absolutny debiut... Pod koniec 2006 roku zespól decyduje się na nagranie swojego pierwszego demo. Z powodu ograniczonych funduszy decyzja pada na samodzielną realizację materiału. Na początku 2009 roku zespół rejestruje swój pierwszy album "Fear is the Key". Płyta zostaje wydana przez Propaganda Promotions jesienią tego samego roku. Dyskografię grupy zamyka zarejestrowany w 2012 roku album "Start to Exterminate". Wg przedpremierowych recenzji w branżowej prasie "Start to Exterminate" jest płytą o wiele lepszą od debiutu!
