Jetpack Superheroes

Short Version:
The Jetpack Superheroes are an acoustic comedic musical performance theatrical music and performance piece group that performs acoustic comedic music and performance pieces. Imagine Flight of the Conchords, Ed Sheeran, the Muppets and Mr. Bean all performing a super low budget play. Their show is all original works because no one else will put this much time into learning instruments and then waste their talents on comedy songs about having 21 kids, or dating as the last man on earth.

Long Version:
Hailing from Massachusetts, the Jetpack Superheroes started out as a pared back rock - ukulele trio. Armed with a Hawaiian styled parody of Metallica's "Enter Sandman," these newly formed but veritable rock gods managed to pack 5 people, including a man dressed as a ninja turtle, into their first gig. If you ask anybody who was at the inaugural Jetpack show, they’d tell you that… the ninja turtle had some pretty sweet moves.

It was clear from this first performance that the awesome sauce was there, it just required a little more mixing. Never to be deterred, the boys dropped their ukuleles to the floor, plugged into an old amp Paul had lying around, and found their true calling. Inspired by all of the love they saw in the world around them, the Jetpack Superheroes had been retooled into the musical equivalent to that one hot night in college, including the awkward walk back the day after.

Since their reformulation, the Jetpack Superheroes have built up a respectable internet following, been featured on radios across southeastern Massachusetts, and can be seen playing at fringe festivals and other concerts. This band proves that when you can’t find the words to say what you want to say, just keep talking. You might get lucky anyway.
