Josh Goldberg

Josh Goldberg’s compositions explore the intersection between Jewish traditional past and contemporary music. Working in both Hebrew and in English the singer, pianist, guitarist, composer and producer of the upcoming album ONE seeks to bring communities together with his music. Josh currently serves as the Musical Artist in Residence at Temple Emanuel in Beverly Hills, California, where he works with congregants of all ages, composes and arranges choral pieces, and collaborates with the clergy on creating innovative worship experiences.

Born and raised in Dallas Texas, Josh moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to attend University of Southern California’s renowned Popular Music Performance program. Since graduating he has performed with Grammy winners Macy Gray, Melissa Manchester and Lamont Dozier, and toured with Jewish music stars Craig Taubman and Rick Recht. These touring experiences helped build his fan base and influence Josh’s interest in Jewish compositions which led to his crowd-funding endeavor on Jewcer raising $10,000 to produce upcoming album ONE.
