OF THE SEA: Daniel Robbins - piano & keyboards , John Kelly - vocals, bass guitar & guitar, Kerry Frysinger - vocals, guitar & piano, Oliver - drums & percussion. John & Kerry are natives to the Philadelphia region, Oliver from the north Jersey & NYC area, and Dan is originally from the west coast in LA. Sharing some influences & having some different ones each of their own, creates a wide sound-scape taking a little something from the birth of the rock n roll era into today. Some of the major influences from all 4 members range from The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen, The Who & U2 to later generations of bands in indie & mainstream rock like Pearl Jam, STP, Pavement, Sleater-Kinney & Stereolab. The biggest common thread they all share though... Is creating strong songs in the vein of all of their legendary influences... and presenting them in an intimate & intense live setting as best as they possibly can. Of The Sea is not just simply a band or music... it's a state of mind... An experience... A community... Which includes you, me & Of The Sea.
