Constant Swimmer Biography
Constant Swimmer makes down-tempo house electronica. Though his music is purely technologically drivine, there is enough texture and richly layered instrumentation to make them diverse and open-ended. The artist’s EP Dream State seems to excel in this middle ground between the rhythmically pulsating and the dreamy and atmospheric. - Culturetease.com
Ranging from soft piano ethearialism and crystalline New wave all the way to hard hitting break beats hitting from between hip-hop and rock, from a music box like tinkering with a glockenschpeile back to 32 bit driven samplers, there is no real category for Constant Swimmer to fall into except for future greatness.
Okay to be in the background but not content with simply fitting in, much like the composer himself this album (Momentary Lapse) stands out with an easygoing rebellion against the often repetitive St. Augustine music scene.
Where do you put such great quality work? How do you classify it?
Somewhere between chillstep and hiphop, but I'd personally if recommend it in "frequently played" in the front of your favorites playlist. - Jason Wall.
