Symbion Project

Symbion Project is the brainchild of electronic music composer/producer Kasson Crooker.

Over the past 2 decades of creating eclectic electronic music, Kasson has founded numerous bands (Symbion Project, Freezepop, ELYXR, Rocococo, and others) in numerous genres from downtempo, IDM, techno, ambient, synthpop, and classical synthesizer music.  Influenced by 80’s synthpop acts Depeche Mode and New Order, Massive Attack and Portishead in the 90’s, Royksopp and Air in the 00’s, Symbion Project strives to define its own aesthetic and songwriting style.

Over the past 9 full length albums, remixes, music videos, and videogame music, Symbion Project has constantly evolved while retaining the complex, sophisticated, cinematic sound that sets it apart from other electronic acts.
