Anna & the Consequences

Anna Paolucci was born and raised in Akron, Ohio but has called Columbus home for the past 30+ years. She grew up in a multi generational musical family. Her father is the late jazzer and pianist Roland Paolucci, the creative director of the Akron Jazz Workshop, Cleveland Jazz Orchestra and a Professor Emeritus, University of Akron, Jazz Studies. Recurring guests over the decade joining her on stage include Stan Smith, Roger Hines, Michael Cox, Tim Perdue, Tom Davis, Darchelle L. Williams, Danny Bauer, Tony McClung, Fred Gablick, Jim Rupp, Tony Bonardi, Caleb Hutslar, Andrew Willard, Andy Kuss, Tony Haygood, Dwight Bailey, Dan Sagraves and Rick Soriano just to name a few. In 2014 Anna began forging musical relationships with longtime Akron jazzers and friends who are some of the regions top musicians including Rock Werhmann, Jack Schantz, Mark Gonder, Paul Ferguson, Nick Paporone, Rob Sobnosky, Dillon Shidemantle, Matt DeRubertis, both Roland and Eddie Paolucci to name a few.
These powerhouse players regularly join her on stage in Columbus area and Akron alike, at Martin Luther King Performing and Cultural Arts Complex, Lincoln Theater, Huntington Park "Dinner on the Diamond" with Paul Revere & the Raiders, Notes Live Music in Copious, BLU Jazz, Supper Clubs around Ohio, Thirty One West, Columbus Metropolitan Club events 3-4x a year, Simply Living Bi-annual Membership Drive, Nissan Lancaster Grand Opening and 1st Birthday, The Refectory, including their 30th Anniversary Celebration - Champagne Under the Stars, Cafe Bella Jazz Brunch and Supper Club Series, Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza, Columbus Italian Festival (7 yrs to date), Columbus Arts Festival (5 yrs), Columbus Food Truck Festival (3yrs), Bicentennial Park, Columbus Metro Parks, Grandview Library music series, five Columbus area Farmers' Markets and many many more!
