MIREI (Mirei Touyama), 20 year old Japanese singer/songwriter is definitely a new kind of artist representing her own SNS generation.

She won Japan’s biggest dance competition when she was only ten, and has performed at some of the hottest clubs in NYC since she was 13. MIREI was also featured in Vy Higginsen’s Gospel For Teens (the prestigious choir which won national competitions and got Emmy for CBS/60 Minutes documentary), winning first place at the legendary Amateur Night at Apollo and releasing her US debut single, “Tattoo” when she was only 14. On June 25th 2014, MIREI released her major debut single, “Fallin’ Out/I Wanna No feat. SHUN” from Sony Music Japan and scored #1 on iTunes chart. She also made her special appearance at BET Experience/2014 BET Awards in Los Angeles performing along with young US R&B stars such as Tinashe, Jacob Latimore and more.

On July 27th 2016, MIREI released her 12 song debut album titled “My Way” that again charted #1 on iTunes, and she was also featured in Radio Fish’s smash hit, “Golden Tower”.

Following her next single, “By Your Side”, MIREI made several live appearances at Japanese POP Culture Conventions in the US major cities performing her original songs as well as US covers such as her rendition of Porter Robinson/Madeon’s “Shelter”, “Formation” by Beyoncé and “Now or Never” by Halsey. MIREI was also a main cast in the Hip Hop Musical based on the blockbuster comic titled Tokyo Tribe in fall 2017.

On August 29th, 2018, MIREI released her second album, “Answer” including her response to Japanese hip hop/pop classics including “Dear My Boo” the answer song to Shota Shimizu’s 2016 mega hit, “My Boo” and “Neiro Regards” , the break through single defined KREVA’s Solo career in 2004 originally titled, “Neiro”. The album became #1 on Line Music Daily Chart and stayed on top position at iTunes R&B and Pop charts.

With a powerhouse, expressive voice, fierce dance moves and a personality that lights up the stage, MIREI proves that she has international appeal and ready to explore the world.

2013年夏まで全米トップの名門ゴスペルチーム“Gospel For Teens”に所属し、唯一のアジア人として異例のリードヴォーカル抜擢という活躍をみせた。日本でもその模様がTV東京系『超流派』で長期特集が組まれ話題になった。

2013年6月にシングル「TATTOO」で全米デビューも果たしたほか、シリーズ累計75万ヒットを記録するDJ和のコンピレーションアルバムのために「Hysteric Girl」「I Wanna No feat. SHUN」をそれぞれ書き下ろすなど、デビュー前の新人として異例の大抜擢を受け業界内でも話題になる。

2014年6月25日両A面シングル「Fallin' Out／I Wanna NO feat. SHUN」でデビュー、iTunesのR&B／ソウルアルバムチャートで1位を記録。
同年6月末には米BET AWARDS前夜祭出演という日本人初の快挙を成し遂げる。

2016年7月27日、1stFull Album「My Way」で再び牙を剥く、本格派R&Bシンガー。

力強いメッセージとダンスパフォーマンスにより、“20世紀生まれ最後のモンスター”としてグローバルな可能性に注目が集まっている。
