Elliot Sedgwick and the Moonshine Pioneers

Elliot Sedgwick and the Moonshine Pioneers is an intricate mix of professional songwriting, solid vocals, and extreme instrumental talent. This group of musicians together include a Country/ Americana singer/songwriter, a rock drummer, a diverse bassist, and a pro-studio pianist. When mixed together, the sound rides out of the P.A. with a rich kick to the ears. Visually, the band sends waves of energetic emotion in to the crowd. Some fans compare this group to Bruce Springsteen and Johnny Cash put together in a late night bar in Memphis.

Elliot Sedgwick (Lead Singer/Guitar) - Born and raised in Lexington, Illinois, Elliot has played and written music since childhood. After studying music production and audio engineering in Nashville, Tennessee, he continued to write music in Nashville until October of 2011, when he returned to central Illinois. In late 2014 Elliot entered Eclipse Studio in normal,Illinois with Grammy nominated producer/writer Erik Nelson to record new material.Those songs will be released in the summer of 2015. Along with a slew of live shows with his new band.
