About this concert
Sound will be staging its first all ages music festival as part of the bicentenary celebrations of St James. Taking place at St James Concert and Assembly Hall on the 27th and 28th October, over 50 bands and musicians will take to three different stages, for 22 hours of live music. The festival will run from 12 noon to 11pm on both Saturday and Sunday, with a fully stocked bar and fantastic food available throughout, at reasonable prices. There will also be activities for youngsters, Vinyl Vaughan pop up record shop and listening room, and other weird and wonderful things. The festival is a fund raiser for the Sound charity. It has only been made possible by the continued generosity of St James, who are supporting this event as part of their Bicentenary celebrations in 2018 with a view to broadening the reach and appeal of the venue, and to demonstrate that it is here for the whole community of Guernsey.
