David Bellew, 24 year old bluesman, hailing from the borderland town of Dundalk has been forging his own style of blues since his early teens. Inspired by guitar gods Hendrix, Gallagher, Blackmore, Emanuel and May, David began crafting his own original material which was woven from bluesy guitar riffs, colloquial mannerisms and the voice of a disillusioned youth. 2017 has seen David make waves in the Irish blues scene playing alongside blues legends Blind Boy Paxton, The Jack McAuley Trio (Ex-Them) and Sinnerboy (The UK’s Leading Rory Gallagher Tribute).

This year David has also been gaining a reputation as one of Irelands most promising young session musicians featuring at Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, Vantastival and Arcadian Fields with rising star David Keenan and folk-pop sensations Sonnets & Sisters. David has also been performing and recording with Tara Tine, ‘Songstress, Hallion and Author’. Most recently David has been featured on Alice Robinson’s soon to be released single ‘Rise’.
