Team Starset did it again!!!! Another absolute LEGENDARY demonstration. Fuck the New East!!!!! The upgraded tech was incredible and made for a unique visual experience. Don’t even get me started on the new space suits- give the costumer a raise, seriously!!!!! I graduated from college with a bachelor’s earlier that same day and was unbelievably pumped to be surprised with the performance of “Brave New World”!!! It was heavy metal to the core. You could feel how much fun the band had playing it. It is clear that we are entering a new era of starset, and I’m honored to have been part of the ride since the very beginning. So so so excited for what’s to come with this talented group…we’re going to PROX.

Great venue. Good size with good access to bars. Room to stand up and dance in the back areas. A bit crowded on the floor in front of the stage. The band played Dead but also some other artists. Good musicians, especially the bassist. The jams were too long and tedious with the lead guitarist showing off too much and straying too far from each song's melody. I went to thirty Dead shows while Jerry was alive. I like to dance. The numbers Almost Dead played were not that danceable. The last two numbers were great: Eyes of the World and Along the Watch Tower.

Just amazing - it was nice to see the artists enjoy being on stage and the interaction between them and with the audience. This was a first time attending this type of event outside of a regular concert and it was everything. Thank you to Jelly Roll, Jake Owens, and Carly Pearce for an unforgettable evening! And The Eastern is a great venue as well!

Been to many DBT shows, starting in the mid 2000's. Definitely not as good as back then, but didn't disappoint. John Neff was a guest and played a couple songs on the pedal steel. Would like to see him back on lead guitar, sorry not a fan of Jay. Every rock'n Cooley tune seemed to be played at the same beat, which was different. I think it even confused Mike a few times as to which he was supposed to be singing. Bummed we didn't get to hear where the devil don't stay. Did not dig the solo walk off stage at the end of the night. No band pose for pics. First time at the Eastern. Nice venue for a concrete and metal building, multiple levels, good acoustics, you can see the band really well from so many different places, both standing and sitting. Bathrooms were a challenge to find. Cool roof top bar with a decent size video screen showing live on stage. Not much street parking and garage charged me $30, so I had to skip buying drinks. Revitalized area tho

Shorty Never disappoints! I was new to dumpstaphunk. I was WOW! I know now! I caught the tail end of Soul Rebel. I was looking forward to seeing them too. I hadn’t seen them in years. I been living in Atlanta for 23yrs. I needed that! I used to be at the second lines every Sunday. I feel like I remember Shorty from childhood neighborhood near the Zulu club. But anyway, I got my fix! Appreciate y’all Boys !

My fourth or fifth time seeing them and ima day one fan since Bicycle. The sound was off and flat and it was their worst Atlanta performance ever since they set the bar so astronomically high back when they were giving the best live show I had ever seen at variety playhouse. It was just off night for them and the sound was so flat you couldn’t get into the music.

These guys never fail to impress. My daughter and I had the greatest time. We are definitely going to see them on the next tour. Rick Wilson was a great choice to open the show. Guy had energy and a very unique sound. Terrific venue. Very clean, well stocked and had a comfortable atmosphere. The people of Atlanta that support these guys were some of the nicest people to be around. I can’t say enough. Well worth the long drive.

I've seen a lot of arena shows of the biggest bands and these guys here put on a better show than any one of them. I will absolutely see them every opportunity I get. It's so obvious they love what they do and they love their music and culture. If you have the opportunity, don't miss them. Even if the lineup is meh, The HU will make it money and time well spent.

The Eastern Rooftop is such a cool venue! Very small and intimate, great sunset views, and even has some seating. The only problem was it was a little hot but still super fun! Betcha was amazing as usual; they always put on a great, high-energy show. Parking was easy and not pricy. With such a small venue and band there was no line for entry.

Having lost my 29 year old son, Joey, 2 years ago, I could not contain my tears listening to Gavin's Song. Such a beautiful tribute to your son. I gifted a couple of Joey's memorial wristbands with your wife at the merch table. She was an absolute sweetheart when we spoke. I love the new CD and the show was phenomenal! I have seen Marc several times over the years and the shows just get better every time! Bobby's guitar playing with the addition of the horns left me swaying and clapping to the rhythm of the vibe they were putting out! It's always a heartfelt show, thank you!

Always a treat to see a living legend do their thing. There are a lot of AIC songs in the set (audience pleasers for sure), but I would LOVE to hear more of the solo material, which totally stands up on its on. Also, Jerry left points on the field… with Mastodon in the house and William Duvall local (I didn’t see him there), it would have been rad to get those guys on stage for an encore moment. The Eastern is a killer venue!

This is my first time at the Eastern. The show was awesome!’The venue was fantastic! Parking was only 15$ and there were plenty of places within a few blocks of walking to eat dinner. We ate at Killer Burgers which great. Had beer at Three Taverns Imgainarium. Then off to a fantastic show! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING ME CELEBRATE MY 50th Birthday!

Totally totally totally awesome! What connection with the audience. Lots of stories, variety, audience participation, and lots of dancing !!! Everything I expected and more. So joyful! The Eastern was the perfect venue. There really isn’t a bad seat in the house, you can see everything, and the acoustics are great. Can’t wait to see them again or go to another show there.

Minnesota always brings a fresh perspective to the songs we all love, whether it be artists like Kendrick Lamar, Suicide Boys, Audrey Nuna, or even Minnesota himself! My dude actually remixed his music from a decade ago with his new music and I’m just blown away 😭 I will always be a fan from the first day I listened to his music 11 years ago. I’m excited to rock with him again and I hope everyone else - Rohan Solo, Myrthm, and The Widdler - tour with Minnesota again!

I learned how to play ( I use that term very loosely) Banjo when I was a boy with my Grandfather's 1914 Tenor Banjo and have been love with the instrument my whole life, even though I grew up listening to Rock And Roll and Jazz . When Bela Fleck came along and showed the world that you could play not just Bluegrass, but Rock and Jazz on a Banjo, he became my hero. Fast forward to this year and I saw that he was coming, I had to get tickets. It was at a venue I was not familiar with called The Eastern here in Atlanta and I was very impressed with the venue (1100 ppl capacity with chairs, 2400 without). The sound system was great. Bela Fleck and his amazing band wire stupendous and did not disappoint. I have been to 9 live music shows this year in different venues and different genres around town and I got to say that this was the best show I've seen this year and I'd put it in my top 10 shows of all time (and I've seen A LOT of live music in my life). Thank you for a wonderful time.

This is one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. Fkj did a great job of creating a wholistic experience for us that went way beyond what was expected. The sound was full and surreal, and the set made the show feel cinematic. I felt like for a couple of hours I got transported into the mind of Vincent through the stories he was telling us through his music. The theme from his newest album to return to childlikeness was apparent in this show, and I felt a childlike sense of adventure, wonder, and fun during his set. Fkj carries a paradox of both rich simplicity and vibrant depth in his artistic vision that made it easy to follow along with him wherever he went. Overall, I am blown away. Fkj thank you for inviting us into your world for a bit 🥲

My first time at this venue and seeing Highly Suspect. Maybe the sound was off?? 🤷🏻‍♂️ It was so loud in there and the lead singer didn’t sound too great. His voice is awesome in his music but LIVE it was not. I never leave a show early but in this one I did. Dead Poet Society was pretty solid tho!!

Always great to see GGB! The only thing that sucked is that since they played with Amigo~, it brought some other types of people (which isn’t a bad thing per se) and the dancefloor turned into these 5 guys who were not there for GGB and they were trying to fight anyone who touched them at all. Fortunatly people banded together and made sure not let those guys ruing the showe for others.

I purchased 2 tickets to this show, but when my daughter & I arrived at the venue's box office to claim our tickets we were told that the concert was postponed till February. Very disappointing, especially since I received no email from ticketing alerting me to this change. Since we do not live in Atlanta, we drove 80 miles to see my favorite band. Since I cannot predict being available in February, I would like a refund for my tickets. Please email me how I can facilitate this. Diana Phillips
