The gig was pure gold! The Courettes are naturals on a scene with a lot of energy and always give 120%. They were on fire with their own brand of fuzzy garage rock with a dash of 60s girl groups thrown into the mix and all topped off with the addition of a big Phil Spector like sound! It´s amazing how much two people can get such a big sound when they know what they are doing. They also have some excellent songs. I can highly recommend The Courettes live. If you get a chance to see them live then all I can say is do it, do it, do it! Check them out! You will not regret it! Oh and yeah... they are lovely down to earth people ta boot! Blue
