Teddy is an amazing performer- his band is perfection, you can tell they all have an amazing relationship. I started following Teddy years ago when he was "just" doing covers. When he came out with his own music I was worried that I would be disappointed. Instead, he has become my favorite artist. His voice is just as chilling live as it is in videos etc. I also love the moments he explains some of his songs. Tears have even been shed. His, and in the crowd!

This show was phenomenal! First Aid Kit had glorious harmonies, tons of energy, related to the audience, and genuinely seemed moved by the warm reception they received. Their singing was flawless and they combined new songs from Palomino with favourites from their previous 4 albums. They honoured Christine McVie (she and Fleetwood Mac are one of their favorite artists) with an acoustic version of Songbird. You could have heard a pin drop in the Anthem. Johanna and Klara are simply stunning.

Amazing concert, my first Flaming Lips show. Lazers, balloons, confetti, giant pink robots, all lyrics projected onto the screen. This show had it all, and I am absolutely going to go to any and all future shows that I can whenever they come around again. (Venue was also fantastic, they got everyone in very fast and orderly, and while the place was packed, you did not feel suffocated by the amount of people. There was thankfully appropriate breathing room for all.)

My favorite band to see live, so I might be a little biased. These guys put so much of themselves into every performance, and it shows. Despite having to restart Blacktop, the show was almost flawlessly executed. It was also interesting to see how the songs from Cool it down fit together with the music from Fever to Tell and It’s Blitz. I was super stoked that they played Down Boy, but would have liked more music from Show Your Bones.

I love Sabrina, but this concert was a bit of a let down. Waited in line for 4 hours till doors opener then an additional 90 mins for the show to start. The opening act was decent, I had never listened to their music before. Sabrina’s set list was short. The show got stopped 3 separate times for 5-10 mins due to congestion in the crowd. To say we were packed like sardines was an understatement, almost every single person had their hands to their chest and couldn’t move. We lost 3 songs due to constant stopping of the show. Waters were handed out but not nearly enough of them. Overall the concert was good the venue needs readjusting and security needs to be stricter

He was fantastic! So much energy. So geniune. So generous. When other musicians were taking the lead during the instrumental parts of songs, he was there on stage moving out of the way but watching them, clapping and cheering them on. We were up front in the first row, and, at the end of the show after what (based on set lists we'd seen on-line from earlier recent concerts) we thought was the last encore, he stood up from the piano and faced the crowd. We could see him well up a bit at the adoration from the crowd, put his hand on his chest, took a deep breath in and out --- and he turned and sat back at the piano for what seemed to be an impromtu addition of "Gran Torino." A great concert!

Isabel opened up for Nessa Barrett and she killed it. Didn’t know what to expect because I haven’t listened to her music too long. I just got aware of her when I found out she was opening up for Nessa. She brought the energy and she was such a vibe. She interacted with everyone and kept my interest the whole time. Her brother was good too. Can’t wait to see where her career goes from here… I’m officially a Isabel LaRosa fan!!

What can you say about these guys? Solid each and every time I have seen them live (6) they are the world's state of the art speedgrass/bluemetal band and there's no comparison..they need to do a collaborative effort with D. Mustaine..seriously.. My first of many shows seeing Amigo the devil and he was a absolute joy to see in person..seems as real and a genuine entertainer..I have been sufficiently trampled by amigo.. Now.. The venue .. Man what a great place ..everyone was super nice and asthetically the nicest club ive ever been in..they do however need a little ambient sound conditioning because of the ceiling height and the fact that it's all metal .. Kick ass show..kick ass club..hell of a way to spend my 10th anniversary.

Went with my mom and she’s not really a fan of Louis but she still was entertained because the venue gave drinks (alcoholic) to people 21 and older (which I noted that people 20 and younger got stamps on each of out hands to make sure nobody had drinks underage). They also had food. I was in the pit and even though I was late (because we parked far away) I still got to be kind of close to the stage. The venue was great. A lot of people were fainting because they were dehydrated and it was hot (the show had to be stopped about 4 times), but the people working there were so awesome. They were passing out water and made sure everyone was safe, they were telling everyone that if anyone felt like they were going to faint to get to the outside of the pit (it was all happening in the pit, of course). Louis was incredible. He always is lol. He stopped the show for the people that were fainting. Asked if everyone was alright and made sure everyone that needed water got some. This was my first concert and it was beyond my expectations.

I missed KC and the Sunshine Band due to lateness on my part. They are my favorite disco band ever. The adventure of finding this place was a job and the rain didn't help either. The B52's were excellent. I met them from the Mesopotamia tour and they signed my albums. Great people to party with. They gave me backstage after party tickets back then. They take care of their fans and it showed in this show too. The sound was good enough to make this tour a live album and they should. It was an older and well behaved crowd. The B52's sounded better than the albums because they added new blended lead intros to most of their songs. The B52's were light years ahead of their time. R.E.M. is the only band that could touch their sound. Regardless of the culture, I will never deny being a die hard B52's fan from their start to finish and beyond the universe. They dared to be different and put it on vinyl. The B52's was a band I called my own. After a 30 year lay off, I picked this one to end my concert going career with a bang. The B52's/K.C. and the Sunshine Band was a gig worth the wait. My Favorite B52's Song "Party Gone Out of Bounds (the Remix)".

Conan was fantastic. But you knew the weather was terrible, you should have opened the doors early. It is unacceptable to wait that long in that kind of weather to get inside. Also, I wish your stage was higher. On the one hand your facility is truly impressive. But starting about 35% of the way back, you cannot see the stage at all. This could be fixed with a slightly sloped floor or a higher stage.

I’ve seen The Revivalists 15-20 times over the years. This concert was a disappointment mainly because the energy wasn’t there (relative to the other concerts I’ve attended - which is a high bar). Maybe because they just came from Mardi Gras or because of the crowd? The people around us seemed not to know their music and were generally unappreciative. The best venue to see The Revivalists is a festival setting. They feed off the audience and they didn’t get a great audience at The Anthem. Btw, I love The Anthem. I just don’t think that it brings out David and Zach’s best.

ABSOLUTELY FUCKING AMAZING. Alex is such a genuine artist even in a packed venue is he still intimate with a fan. He’s so kind and funny it was amazing. His band sounds so good the trumpet solo went FREAKING DUMB. So talented. He gave time for all his band to shine individual and was very conscious with them. 10/10 experience (no pun intended). Will most definitely be seeing him again. Best of luck to see this artist thrive!!!!

After the incredible show Friday, felt like there was no way to outdo it. But man did they bring the heat Saturday. Out of the gates with a lively ‘Just To Lie’. However the most unforgettable moment came with the acoustic duet of Holly Bowling and Hoffman on Windshield. Go to nugs and check that one out. Absolutely haunting. And the No Expectations later in the set was such a wonderful tribute to Austin. A perfect ending to the best 2 show run of Greensky I have ever experienced.

Sound was great as usual. Venue was great. But wasn’t thrilled with the new album. Was hoping to hear more than the two old songs at the end. Wish i would’ve chosen the second day too as there were so many inconsiderate a*holes in the standing section, maybe it wouldn’t have been so packed the second night. Not sure if that was sold out too. Wish i had a better camera but i got some ok photos and videos!

So much better than I could have ever expected, even with the crappy opening "comedian" and the matching hologram act, though it was cool seeing John sing to himself playing the guitar and vice versa (you had to be there for this to make sense). But not only did they do all of Dizzy, obviously, they went WAY BACK to Jed and Superstar Car Wash. Songs I *never* thought I'd hear live. Wish they'd done Naked and Long Way Down from A Boy Named Goo and I'd be on cloud 16 instead of just 9.

The Ben Howard concert should have been billed as the "whatever his new album name is" Experience. At least that way people would be known what they were in for, which was an entire concert focused on his new album. But not just focused on it, it was very conceptual as well, not a party atmosphere. Maybe if the concert had been seated and not standing, general admission, one might enjoy it more. I saw him do this at a festival in Belgium over the summer. And while this may have gone over with European fans, American fans only heard of him after he toured his first album, Every Kingdom, and made the documentary, From Austin to Boston, and this was the first chance to see him ever. However, even if you want to focus on the new music, the least he could have done was Every Kingdom songs for the encore. That's what I was hoping would be different from the festival. But somehow he managed to find 15 more minutes from the new album. How long is this album anyway??? Big turnoff to American fans as you can see from reviews from all the US shows.

I just saw Florence + the Machine at Anthem in D.C.! If you’ve ever seen her live, enough said. If you haven’t, it’s a real treat! This beautifully red-haired sprite (I looked it up) really loves her fans and it shows. As well as running, dancing, twirling and jumping almost the whole time(watch the videos) she just exudes love and peace the whole show. I feel she must be physically and emotionally exhausted after the show with what she’s putting out. Smiling and talking between songs she invites the crowd to 1)hold hands with the person next to you, 2)tell a stranger you love them and 3)before the song “Patricia”, “if you’re feeling low, hang on;if you’re feeling below ground it’s because you’re getting ready to bloom!” You leave the show feeling uplifted. If I were rich, I’d come back and see the same show tonight. Beth Ditto opened with a LOT of soul.

opener = awesome! Florence and the machine = amazing! The anthem = love it! audience = worst I've ever shared with! this group of young, drunk, obnoxious people nearly ruined my night with their dumb tambourine, a poster/sign blocking our view, and attitudes like we were all there for them, not the show. they were loud and awful...even watched and yelled for a baseball game during the performance. and, when someone would ask them to take others into consideration, they would cuss and yell at them ... they were just awful!
