From the last minute support replacement Jake O’Neill to 49 Winchester the place was buzzing the atmosphere was electric. 49 Winchester played a selection of songs from their first album & from their soon to be released album in August
leah herself was great but doors opened 45-50 minutes late and we got no communication from the venue, people asked how much longer as they needed water due to being out in the sun and they said they would open the doors in 5 minutes, 30 minutes later the doors opened
Awesome set. Great energy. Sound was on point in a venue where I’ve seen it blow hot and cold. Best performance I’ve seen from Yonaka yet, it deserved a sold-out crowd last night. Hope to see their star rise to bigger venues soon.
First time I’d seen them in about 25 years. Played all the classics & put on a great show! Venue not the best for accessibility & lots of columns blocking the view
Firstly the venue is great. Having attendes there a few times now it gets better every time. Burning Witches show was Amazing. From start to finish they rocked. I only have one complaint and that is id like to see them headline and play a longer set. I love these Sisters in Metal.
For my first ever show it was a privilege too see my favorite band I would love for you guys to come back to Glasgow because I'll definitely be there! I love you guys.
Avatar always know how to put on a show. Love their energy on stage.
I must admit that the singer's microphone wasn't great at picking his vocals up for anything other than shouts/scream which sucked but everything else was amazing :D
Brought my friend who hadn't heard any of Rebecca's music before and she's a fan now! The new songs are so good, my favourite part of the gig was hearing the friday remix, everyone was jumping. We had a great time, will definitely see Rebecca Black when she's back in Glasgow!!
one of my all time favourite shows of my life, thank you muna for giving me hope that there is a place i can go !!!! after such a rough year this was the joy i needed <3
What a beautiful racket! Last night of the tour, hometown gig with an audience absolutely up for it. If you get the chance, go and see them. You'll have no regrets, promise.
I have to confess I didn't know much about Kiefer's music prior to attending. I was in the West End, saw the gig was on and toddled along. Kiefer was good value. He engaged well with the audience, had a good stage presence and his band was excellent. Well played sir.
It was honestly such a euphoric experience, the energy was insane!!! My only criticism was that his set was really short plus there wasn’t an opening act (but I guess when you’re performing something so high energy it gets pretty difficult to it keep up on tour) All in all though, one of the best nights of my life!!! Thanks jpeg!!
An awesome night, would never have considered myself a Beartooth fan until last night, after this gig though, I’m a massive fan.
Highlights were many, but for me the inbetween just edged it.
Amity Affliction were great too, really want to see them again.
What a venue
This show was simply epic! As always... Thanks Dev!!! And thank you Haken for the cooperation!!!
Ohh one more thing. I've been to this venue a few times, but this gig sounded way better, cleaner, tighter than anything else before! So... massive shout-out to all the crew as well as to everyone on stage!
Thank you guys! It was a really great concert! :)
Sam is the freaking best Techno artist there is 🙌🖤 I love his shows and this one was great. There was enough space to dance, it was properly dark as well. Sam smashed it 🔥🔨
Positives:
I'll keep it short and sweet. Great gig, great sound, and Interpol played everything I was looking forward to hearing live.
Negatives: (SWG3)
Ticket prices for SWG3.
TV Studio bar - terribly organised.
SWG3 Galvaniser is a terrible venue, long rectangular shed, stage too low, everyone squeezed in unsafely!
Such kind people, who are incredibly talented! Loved their music, but didn’t know they were supporting at this gig. Very grateful to have seen them live, and met them! Really down to earth and genuine souls :)
First time at that venue, very impressed with it, seems perfect for music gigs, the sound was good, I was pleasantly surprised that The Lafontaines were on so early, I wasn't feeling well and wasn't interested in the main act so was delighted that I could make the fairly long drive back to Edinburgh earlier than usual, the staff were all really nice.
Perfect mix of all the best old stuff and great new material. Cover of Teenage Fanclub was a great touch for a Scottish audience in Glasgow. The final encore acoustic version of Frank Mills wrapped up a sublime night
Great time, great band
Overall a good experience. One thing is that they skipped The Handshake which was the last song on the setlist so I’m pretty bummed about that. I also felt that Andrew seemed quite tired compared to last time I saw him in the US this year. Also the stage was quite small and low to the ground so it’s hard to see them properly.
