Wow, this artist delivers a high energy and totally fun performance. The whole band gets into the act and the evening was just waves of fun and the excitement. While they had to change venues to the Troubadour, it was seemless and probably a better show for the change.
Run don't walk if this artist comes to town. And you will have to be faster than me.
Alexandra Kay and her team were all amazing!
The staff at the Roxy, not so much. We were treated rudely at the entrance, given misinformation regarding where the line was for meet and greet and the options for the VIP area. The exception was the manager behind the bar, who could not have been nicer.
Again, Alexandra Kay was fantastic and I hope next time she comes to L.A. she is at a bigger venue with more seats.
The Roxy was a great intimate venue where Ms Ward put on an outstanding show of both her new songs and her early work. She was clearly "at home" and put amazing energy into her set. This was my third time seeing her and definitely my favorite show! I felt so lucky to have made this show. I was supposed to have surgery the Wednesday before the show but I put it off just to be there. I am glad I did.
Great show in a smoking hot club! Dead Daisies led with a great set. Been following them since we saw them with the Dead Daisies in Houston. Since then, have seen them in Phoenix, Pinetop, Vegas twice and LA last night.
Daisies were in crazy form with John Corabi whipping up the crowd. Brian Tichy is a beast on the kit. Doug Aldrich led the string attack. Crowd really was into it.
Ran into the Moods at the Rainbow. Josh kin da destroyed the shrimp cocktail according to Jordan.
Late posting a review but whatever but I have to say Rotimi is one of my most fav R&B singers in this day and age. His All or Nothing Tour was the bomb 😍 the visuals, choreography, and outfit change was such a vibe in LA 🥰 Didn't want the night to end. Can't wait to see him perform live again.
Little Simz was nothing short of incredible! Just remarkable! However, The Roxy is nothing short of awful! 10 minutes after Little Simz set was over, security guards wouldn’t let any men use the men’s room. Isn’t this against the law? Security guard just told me “You’re a man, hold it “. I watched a man with his children being told they couldn’t use men’s room either. What was his son (who looked about 10 years old) supposed to do??? Be a man and hold it???
It was memorable! This was my first ever concert like EVER at the Roxy theater!! It was such an amazing experience!! They band was so incredibly nice and sweet! The staff at the bar was amazing as well!! The service was nice! And the place was clean!! I hope they come back to L.A to do more shows, I will defiantly go the next one!! :)
It was worth every penny! 😍😍😍 Vedo did his thang last night especially for his first very own tour and I’m so grateful that I got to witness it last night. Vedo I love you & thank you so much for coming out to LA to perform last night I had a great time! From a Detroit girl to another Detroiter I love you! 😘❤️💕 Didn’t want the night to end. Until next time!
This show was so special to me and it was just such a great time. Covet was amazing, as per usual, they sounded just like the studio recording + the added experience of it all being live. They played their whole new album! The venue had great viewing angles and had really good lighting. Overall, i'd absolutely do it all again (though LA parking is a bit of an issue)
It was a hell of show at The Roxy Friday night with 7Horse!! Loved the new songs off The Last Resort album and all of the other 7Horse hits and a nice Dada classic Dizz Knee Land with special guests Cherie Currie and Nick Maybury. The band rocked all night. Special shout outs to Allison Scagliotti, Darice Bailey, and MK backing up Phil and Joie. It was a night to remember!
The show itself was awesome, Ballyhoo never disappoints! The guys put on a fun, high energy show that's always worth going to.
Good sound, but it was a sold out show so it was hot and stuffy in the venue with terrible air circulation and frequent mj in the air (not awesome for an all ages crowd).
@Kennygotsoul music hits different live!! A truly amazing artist. I love watching him evolve to be his authentic self as a true genuine and humble artist! Thank you for keeping RnB alive!! Your music is food for the soul!! All of the guest Artist Susan Carol and Rose Gold were phenomenal as well. I felt so blessed to experience this night and be in the atmosphere!!!
Even with jet lag and two missing guitars, the Dels brought it. I was at their last tour 25 years ago and Justin still has one of the best voices in music and can write any of these new pop ‘artists’ (and their songwriting teams) right under the table. It’s a cruel twist of the fates that Del Amitri wasn’t appreciated by a larger audience.
Genesis was full of great energy and put on a fun show. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the sound was off. They may be The Roxy's fault. I also caught his show at The Independent in SF. The sound there was much better. The opening band Cassowary was incredible! Looking forward to seeing them headline somewhere next.
Waited 2 years since the release of “A Quiet Place To Die” to be able to see these guys live & wow, they absolutely DID NOT disappoint. Fucking killed the whole setlist even despite the minor technical difficulty with the mic for Lochie during the breakdown of ‘Acid Romance’ 😂
PLEASE come back to the US again I’m already itching to see them again 🔥🤘🏼🖤
i had the time of my life. very well set up and not overwhelming. however, the crowd got too intense forcing me to leave after seeing a crowd surfer not crowd surfing properly and kneeing people in the face on top of seeing multiple people launching themselves into the crowds not being told not to. i left for my safety as i was front row. great show. was more than happy to have had this opportunity.
this show was INSANE!!! I had a blast and made a couple new friends :). I experienced my first mosh pit and got to see my favorite band live! Unfortunately, I had to leave the show early though, so I couldnt stay for pangea which I was bummed about but other than that it was an amazing show! 6/5 stars!
Wow, Eric can sure put on a show! He is extremely talented with lots of energy. The crowd was dancing and moshing the whole night.
I love that it was at the Roxy Theatre because it seemed so personal. My boyfriend's and I loved him so much, we seen him again the next week in a larger Hall.
I would highly recommend seeing him at least once in your life time, even if you don't really know him. Trust me, he'll make you into a fan after one of him.
As a person born and raised in San Diego, it definitely was an interesting experience attending a concert at a smaller yet intimate venue that was for all ages in Los Angeles. The opening performance all the way to P-Lo’s last track was great. Although it was a bit annoying having to stand in front of a girl who wouldn’t stop yelling, “P-Lo take my phone and take a Snapchat for me,” I had a great overall experience!
she’s a good live preformer and her set list was great ! but the crowd was very pushy. for the encore, the crowd all shoved the people forward. so since i was in probably the third row, i got slammed and it hurt a lot. but there were still other people that were very sweet and courteous about personal space :)
