I attended the Mavericks concert in Clearwater on Saturday night, September 12th at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Despite this being their 3rd consecutive night of performing, having been in Fort Lauderdale and Orlando the previous 2 nights, this band was outstanding!! Each band member was energized throughout the 2 hour and 10 minute performance!! If you were like me and had doubts about seeing the Mavericks without Raul Malo, eliminate those doubts right now!! James Otto did a wonderful job on vocals and guitar, but to me the star of the show was Emily West. It's now two days after the show and I keep replaying the videos I took just to listen to her sing!! I've listened to Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, and Linda Ronstadt, among others, but Emily is the best female vocalist I've ever heard!! Do yourself a favor, and go see them in concert!!

Brit Floyd at Ruth Eckerd Hall completely exceeded my expectations. I expected good music, but this was a full experience. The visuals, lighting, sound quality, and overall production were absolutely incredible — the kind of immersive show that reminds you what live music is supposed to feel like. Ruth Eckerd Hall itself is such a fantastic venue. The acoustics were amazing and every detail of the performance came through perfectly. Even if you’re only casually familiar with Pink Floyd’s music, this show is worth seeing. The combination of musicianship and visuals was honestly stunning.

Loved every minute of it. Jason Mraz, Chaska Potter, and Gregory Page are incredible musicians and performers. Jason’s solo shows really highlight his raw talent without relying on heavy production, and it honestly made the experience feel even more intimate and authentic. The acoustics at Ruth Eckerd Hall were phenomenal — the clarity and sound quality were so good that at moments it felt even better than studio-recorded content. Highly recommend both the venue and the show experience.

Peter always has a wonderful show! He's so energetic and fun.. He is exactly what we need to forget our problems and enjoy an evening or day show. We laughed and sang and the people around us were saying how much more they enjoyed his show over the Three Dog Night show. They should have put the Three Dog Night on first and ended with Peter Noone. Thank you, Ruth Eckerd for bringing Peter to your venue.. I was wondering if he would be back after Bowzer's show tour ended last year. He is for sure a crowd pleaser. Totally enjoyed his show.

Such a delightful and soul energizing memory. Shannon has a magical way of sharing her journey through songs, lyrics that bring smiles and warmth to your heart. Shannon owns her undeniable range across her 30+ years of career to the influential artists she aligns with. Not only is she a legendary singer and songwriter, we were fortunate to experience Shannon’s talents on her acoustic and electric guitar. Simply a night that left a song in our hearts and a myriad of memories that we were blessed to share. The world would do better by encompassing the breath of fresh air that Shannon brings to the room! Mike Campbell did well when he chose to seek out Shannnon’s presence.

Ahhh, Frampton Comes Alive! I remember how huge that live album was and the heavy airplay it got. Every time I hear a song from the album it takes me back to another time in my life when things were fun and exciting, hanging with friends and living life. But back to the concert….The cool thing about the visual backdrop at the start of the concert is that it shows Peter at a young age, and I think the audience can all relate, as we lived through the same times. Then a quick glance around the theater and then you realize it’s 50 years later, the hair is grey, (if there is any), people move slower, but the one thing that remains is the music, it’s still the same great music and we are transported back to our youth. The first time we ever saw Peter in concert was in 2011 for the 35-year anniversary tour of the live album, although we have enjoyed his music since the mid-seventies. I think this is show was the fifth time we have seen him in varying venues. One thing I can say is that this was one of the best concerts we have ever seen, the venue is outstanding, the sound was dynamic and clear, the visuals and lights were interesting but not overwhelming, and they added to the experience rather than smothered it. Peter was engaging on stage and interacted with the audience as if we were in his living room. I know it must not be easy putting on a show when you are dealing with medical issues, so I really applaud him. Peter, Hopefully God blesses you and keeps you healthy, enough to play, we need to hear you! Again, I can’t say enough good things about the evening, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Best show of my life. It certainly helped we were part of a “meet and greet” experience where Jon’s personality was on full display. Such a sweet and genuine person. Then…the show starts and that SAME warm and welcoming person leads the audience in a celebration of an extraordinary range of musical performances. He was backed up by a great group of talented musicians who were showcased throughout, demonstrating a highly collaborative process,. The collaboration INCLUDED the audience as well…which created a performance that was greater than the sum of the parts…it took you to a new level. I invite you to join the Jon train for a wonderful experience.

So the venue and crowd were mostly a let down, aside from the intimate size. We were a small group of very few that were very into the whole show, standing a good part, wondering why Scotty doesn’t do more opener spots or his own larger show. Maybe he can make a cameo at TR tomorrow 😁, though I think he may be opening for Cody. You seem like such a nice guy and family man and would love to see you again soon! Come to Orlando solo! We love this show so much! The Cowsills are wonderful!! They are so fun and uplifting. Brings back feelings of my younger days. Jay & the Americans were great also! The Volume was a bit to loud. The lead singer has such a beautiful and powerful voice his Mic didn't need to be set on loud. Many people were holding their ears around us. Little Anthony was great!! So sweet and funny and sings so well. The Vogues were amazing also. Their harmony's were beautiful. Love their songs. Ron did a great job for Howard and Mark from the Turtles. Ron is fun and sings really well for them. I loved this show. I've seen it many times and never get tired of it. Sometimes we just need some feel good great music and to get away from the sad and trying days of everyday life. Thank you for bringing them to Ruth Eckerd. We truly enjoyed this show.. Hope to see them again.

The show was great. High energy and entertaining. The VIP experience was disorganized and delayed. They required disabled patrons to wait by themselves while their caregivers were in a different line. First time we've encountered this. There was no crowd free merch shopping. The merch line was very long all night. The photo opp was rushed and impersonal. Security threatened the group about cell phones and no one even tried to take selfie. This was a 2 show day. I think that caused the event to be inferior to prior ones. We are going to pass on the VIP stuff next time.

It's been a few days since the show to collect my thoughts. First, thanks to Jim Lauderdale for his opening set and lead vocals on 'All That You Dream' it was a perfect match! Next, the Feat's new line players (Scott Sharrard, guitar, and Tony Leone, drums) did pure justice to the Feat legacy. Finally, the last song of the night 'Let It Roll (from 1988 album)' gave homage to the Craig Fuller years which the band introduced to a Tampa crowd on 11/12/88 at the Florida State Fairgrounds (I attended that show). Stellar then, and now! Don't miss them when they come you way!

The show was great as always. I have gone several times and each time someone new comes with me, they too enjoy it immensely and are impressed by the energy these men bring to their performance! Both men - and they just hagive it their all - and had a show the night before and traveled to Clearwater. Scot Bruce's "shake" is the best and Mile Albert makes you believe Elvis has entered the building. Such fun - I hope they keep coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall!

Blackberry Smoke was such a fun and "happy" concert. People singing along, dancing in the aisles and just having a great time. Charlie engages the crowd just the right amount without preaching about anything. The entire band gives off the vibe that they are having a good time and that definitely translates to the crowd. I understand why so many people say they have seen them numerous times. Great music and good times. What is better than that? Southall opened for them and I had never heard of this band. They were outstanding! I need to checkout their tour schedule as I would love to see them perform a full set of their material. The venue in Fort Myers, FL had great sound and the people working there were were not as "difficult" (for lack of a better word) as some of these theater-type venues have a habit of being. A fun experience overall. I wish I could say that about all concert experiences, but BBS delivered 110% on the good times.

We love Scott Bradlee's PMJ and have been fans since their beginning. Have seen several shows over the last 10 years. That is why we were so excited for the 10th Anniversary Show. And very surprised by how disappointed we were. The first half of the show was fantastic, then the second half was the same old, same old as we have seen the past 3 years. We felt Scott Bradlee could have done so much more to honor his 10 years of PMJ. Where were the special guest singers/dancers of 10 years' past??? Where were the songs of 10 years' past??? If we have to hear the longest song "Radioactive" againnnnnnnnnnnn........(you get my point!). And no matter how much we love the tapping of Ms. Demi Remick, that Mario number needs some time off! The musicians and singers and dancers are all top-notch, so we definitely recommend buying tickets for PMJ if you haven't seen them in a while. We would just recommend refraining if you have seen them in the past year or two; we will be definitely taking a break for the next few years. Hoping to see new material the next time; until then we will enjoy on YouTube!! Have a wonderful day all!

This was one of many we have seen over the years. It was, without a doubt, the best concert he has ever produced. He has added some new people that could sing and play and a 16 year old that could play the piano, sing and play sazaphone & guitar. He added a young lady with a beautiful voice that added a great deal to his program. They played for nerly two hours without an intermission. The two tenor men were outstanding in their singing and their playing of their saxaphones. And, of course, Dave Koz was outstanding in his playing and direction of the orchestra. We will come again next year.

I think he still enjoys performing and it shows ! Kenny and a 5 pcs band of great players and hand picked for their fitting harmony vocals , any other act would have extra backup singers but his band were such great players and singers you could tell that time was spent picking each one and it worked ! The show was personal , flowed and Kenny kept t interesting too ! I think he actually still enjoys performing and it shows !

The War Hippies opened the show and were fantastic, as their harmonies are great! They appeared after the show to greet fans, and they are terrific guys!! Headliner Travis Tritt has been around for several decades now, and his songs are just as great as ever! I've seen him in concert many times, but it's been a long while now, and his vocals sounded as good as ever. His band was excellent as well. Travis even played a couple of new songs from his most recent album (first in 14 years), and the new songs were very good! It was a pleasure to see Travis back out performing live music again!! Chris Janson is just a natural born entertainer, as well as a great lyricist and vocalist. He's one of my favorites to see live in concert, as he seems to be a nice guy who cares that his fans have a good time, and his show is always a great deal of fun!

I've seen Ray on every tour since 2009, he's my forever all time favorite. Florida, Michigan, Cali - He NEVER puts on a bad show, they change, they evolve. It's a holy experience. People - do NOT shout out song requests to him. Just don't. ( Esp. Florida...) He has a set list, he sticks to it. Just enjoy it. He's magic, his lyrics are genius and we're lucky to have him on tour. <3

Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, Florida is a fabulous venue for concerts; I've seen many great shows - sitting on the front row (Joe Bonamassa, Joe Satriani, Jerry Seinfeld) and even sitting on the last row (Alan Parsons Project), and although I'll take the front row over the last row, every seat has a great view and wonderful sound. Switchfoot and Collective Soul - you've got to be kidding!! Two headliners in one show. Both played full concerts...okay, maybe both bands shortened their regular main attraction shows, but each played a full 75 minutes or more. The audience loved the both! They/We even enjoyed Jade Jackson who sang an enthusiastic 20 minute set. I'm not a professional reviewer, so I won't go into minute details, but all I can say was both bands rocked, and both bands made their appearance extremely personal with the audience. Not like a Roger Waters concert that is visually strongly negative and political, with the only words coming from him being "Thank you" and "Good night"! Frontmen Jon Foreman of Swictchfoot and Ed Roland of Collective Soul were both tremendous 'masters of ceremonies" as they lovingly engaged the audience with their banter and enthusiasm. Again, both bands sounded fabulous, truly rocked, they were all very loving and complimentary to each other, and even though it was a long night....it was one of the best shows (and I've seen a lot of bands) ever! Trust me....go see them....together or separately....a splendid time is guaranteed for all!

I was delighted with our seats!!! So glad to see the Mavericks back on stage...I will admit that i was getting upset with several of the other attendees that kept dancing on their feet right in front of the handicapped area where the poor older folks could not see the stage...all they could do was ask each other if they could see anything. I strongly suggest that one of your employees should be sensitive to those key areas where those ticket holders cannot stand and at least fend for themselves and ask some to not be so oblivious. My wife has not been to the Eckerd Hall since the Doobie Brothers (we lived in California), so it was a thrill to be back. Our goal for all future shows will be Row Q seats 13/14. Keep the quality of the shows coming.
