“AFTER THE FIRE VOL. 1” RECORD RELEASE AND BENEFIT“After The Fire Vol. 1” is a compilation produced by Grammy balloted artist/producer Scott Mickelson. It showcases all new recordings by fifteen of the top Bay Area artists. All proceeds from the record and shows will benefit those affected by the NorCal fires. The record includes: David Luning, M. Kelly McFarling Biography
Kelly McFarling is an Atlanta-born, Bay Area-based singer, songwriter. Her songs capture a palette forged of Georgia clay and California gold. She has been self-releasing music in the bay area since 2010.
Her latest release Bed of a River (2022) was recorded in Richmond, VA at Spacebomb studios, and finished at home in California. The songs are a collaboration with Andrew Brennan in writing, arranging, playing, recording and living. The record features the Spacebomb house band; Cameron Ralston (bass) Alan Parker (guitars) Pinson Chancelle (drums) Daniel Clark (keys) with production by Matthew E White.
