Mitokeh

The Leipzig-based trio emerged in 2023, though its members have been playing together in different contexts for many years. The band – Antonio Blau (electric guitar), Massimö (electric bass), and Josinua (drums) – builds on a Psych Funk foundation, expanding into a diverse sonic palette that draws on and appreciates influences ranging from Psychedelic Cumbia and Cuban Son to Anatolian Rock and South-East Asian funk.

Some tracks invite listeners to move and lock into the groove, while others drift into more dreamy, laid-back spaces—like a slow afternoon by the water. The trio is continuously writing new material, bringing their different influences together in ways that keep the sound evolving.

After playing a range of concerts and releasing their debut EP Pomodoro Cat in 2025, the trio is currently recording new music while continuing to perform live, with further shows and festival appearances planned for 2026.
