Oatumn

Hello fellow sad kids, autumn is finally here. And with him Oatumns (as appropriate) new Album: "A Room". Song titles like "The Body", "Winter Solstice" and "Disappear" already reveal where the journey should go. In just under 30 minutes of running time, it's about convulsive holding, although you would actually have to let go, the painful struggle of reason against heart and inevitable loss. Dissolve and reassemble again. Who am I, what gets me to what I am? And do I even want to be like that? The synths lie like a thick, wabbling fog around the pictorial lyrics, whose fragility is their strength, while the feedback slowly reverberates. All this gives you a pleasant goosebumps, like a ghost, which you like to be haunted by. Despite all the pain, hope is not lost. The whole thing was recorded in-house, full of joy of experimentation, in a period of origin of two years. "Stones" started in 2023. Who now thinks that he already knows all the singles anyway, is proved wrong here. They did a proper re-recording.
