Güne Mocn

Güne Mocn is a Vienna-based guitarist and composer who crafts his own sonic universe through a unique blend of jazz fusion and funk inspired by the retro vibes of the 1980s and 1970s. His music fuses complex harmonies with infectious grooves creating moods that float somewhere between nostalgia and modern sounds.
His journey began in the rock and metal scene, deeply immersed in the sounds of 80s thrash and classic metal. Since 2012 he gained live experience in various bands. After moving to Vienna in 2015, he toured half Europe with the band „Wildhunt“.
Studying music in 2020, he delved into jazz and fusion in depth. Artists like Chick Corea Elektric Band, Frank Gambale, Casiopea, Wheater Report and many more, inspired his style to serve emotional depth grounded in groove and atmosphere.
After years of musical growth, Güne Mocn is now releasing his debut EP „Do It!“. The record is a tribute to the jazz fusion movement of the 1980s. With „Do It!“, Güne Mocn marks a milestone in his artistic journey and invites listeners to dive into a nostalgic summer day by the pool, straight from the 80s.
