Dandy League was founded from the band members' love for funky grooves. Only funk influences? Not only, the repertoire also includes excursions into pop, jazz and soul. Self-composed music and easy-going lyrics; music with a nice danceable groove.
The songs are played as the band feels them at that moment. Dandy League's firm belief is that they have a musical flow together. And that everyone plays their own thing in their own way, but still completely as Dandy League. The choice of songs is based on what they like themselves. That stubbornness is appreciated by the audience and makes Dandy League a nice band with a raw and honest sound.
The band was founded in 2021. The band members know each other from previous musical collaborations. In that respect, the band is no different from others. What is special is that all band members were looking for a band that met the following requirements: Firstly, the music would be groovy. Secondly, having fun and playing your own music would be more important than playing well or precisely. Play along in our Dandy League. We like to listen to our own vibes and take you along in our endless flow.
