Blending melodic death metal with the depth of classical music, AEPHANEMER have built a distinctive sound that has resonated with an increasingly wide audience over the past decade.

Formed in southern France in 2014, the band quickly established itself through a combination of melodic songwriting, orchestral arrangements, and energetic live performances. With appearances at major festivals including Wacken Open Air, Hellfest and Summer Breeze Open Air, AEPHANEMER have steadily expanded their presence across the European metal scene and beyond.

Since 2023, AEPHANEMER have headlined several European tours, performing across the continent and drawing growing audiences, with numerous sold-out shows along the way.

Released through Napalm Records in 2025, Utopie marked another step forward for the band. Performed entirely in French, the album showcased a new dimension of AEPHANEMER's identity while remaining true to the melodic and orchestral foundations that define their sound. Since its release, the band has experienced a marked increase in visibility and audience engagement, further accelerating its development on the international stage.
