EES – „FRESHNESS“ (VÖ: Sommer 2026)
Mit seinem 16. Studioalbum „FRESHNESS“ schlägt der namibisch-deutsche Künstler EES ein neues musikalisches Kapitel auf. Erstmals widmet er sich intensiv dem international gefeierten Amapiano-Sound und entfernt sich damit bewusst von seinen Kwaito-Wurzeln – ohne dabei seine unverkennbare afrikanische Handschrift zu verlieren.
„FRESHNESS“ vereint Afro-Pop, Pop und Urban-Elemente mit pulsierenden Amapiano-Rhythmen und transportiert die Leichtigkeit und Energie des Spätsommers in 12 tanzbaren Tracks. Die ersten Singles „Manuva“, „Aye Ayo“ und „Big, Round & Beautiful“ geben einen vielversprechenden Vorgeschmack auf die stilistische Vielfalt und kreative Weiterentwicklung des Künstlers.
Mitreißende Melodien, ansteckende Beats und die charakteristische Verbindung von deutschen und afrikanischen Einflüssen machen das Album zu einem besonderen Highlight in EES’ umfangreicher Diskografie. Trotz seiner langjährigen Karriere wirkt „FRESHNESS“ wie ein frischer Neustart – kraftvoll, modern und voller Energie.
Im September und Oktober 2026 bringt EES das neue Album mit seiner achtköpfigen Combo-Brass-Band auf große Deutschlandtour. Fans erwartet eine energiegeladene Liveshow mit tanzbaren Sounds und einer einzigartigen Fusion zweier Kulturen.
