Cape Town's very own Gordon Rocker is a name synonymous with energetic rock 'n' roll performances. Inspired by the legendary Elvis Presley from the young age of 5, Gordon's musical journey began at the Sea Point Civic Centre. His passion and talent for music was evident.
Over the years, Gordon has honed his skills as a singer, songwriter, cover artist, and rhythm guitarist.
His original music, influenced by a diverse range of genres, has resonated with audiences both locally and internationally. From performing at venues across Cape Town to being featured on radio and television, Gordon's career has steadily been on the rise.
A versatile musician, Gordon has also contributed his vocals to a popular US TV series and has had his songs licensed for various commercial uses. His dedication to his craft was highlighted by his performance at the red carpet premiere of the Elvis Presley movie in 2022 at Ster Kinekor at the V&A Waterfront.
Gordon also has a large repertoire of cover songs, including rock 'n roll, country, soul, jazz, ballads, and more.
