AFROJAZZ CLUB GOES ALPPIPUISTO 14.7.2024 VAPAA PÄÄSY - FREE EVENT (for information in English, please scroll down) Afrojazz Club goes Alppipuisto -tapahtuma täyttää Alppipuiston kauniin keitaan musiikilla ja tanssilla, joilla on juuria Afrikassa. Tapahtuma tarjoaa hauskaa tekemistä koko perheelle. Päivän aikana mm. energinen afrofunk, sfääreihin kuljettava afrojazz, tarttuva afropop ja afrobeat sekä perinnerytmejä Afrikan mantereelta takaavat viihdyttävän ja tanssittavan taide-elämyksen kaikenikäisille. Afro Sunday:n rytmit tahdittavat kesäfiilistä puistoon live-esitysten rinnalla. Tapahtumassa järjestetään myös mm. musiikkia ja tanssia sisältävää lastenohjelmaa, työpajoja sekä basaari, jossa on myynnissä teemaan sopivia tuotteita sekä herkullista ruokaa. Tapahtumaan on vapaa pääsy ja se on perheystävällinen sekä esteetön. Lämpimästi tervetuloa juhlistamaan kesää! ❤ Afrojazz Club goes Alppipuisto brings live music and dance with roots in Africa to the beautiful Alppipuisto park in Helsinki. The free festival day offers a fun program for everyone. Energetic afrofunk, atmospheric afrojazz, compelling afropop and afrobeat as well as traditional rhythms from the African continent guarantee an entertaining and dance friendly experience for all ages. Afro Sunday´s rhythms spread the summer vibes in the park alongside the live gigs. In addition, we invite you to take part in the children’s program and the workshops, to visit the bazaar and to taste the delicious food. The event is admission free, and the park is fine for wheelchairs as well. More info coming soon. ☀️TAPAHTUMASTA / ABOUT THE EVENT: Afrojazz Club goes Alppipuisto -tapahtumaa on järjestetty vuodesta 2018 ja sen vastuullinen tuottaja on Kulttuurikameleontit ry. Tapahtuma järjestetään seitsemättä kertaa osana Alppipuiston Kesän tapahtumasarjaa. Vuoden 2020 Alppipuiston Kesän tapahtumat siirtyivät Suvilahden talveen Tiivistämöön striimitapahtumiksi (Helsinki-kanavalla). Tuottajina toimivat yhteistyössä Afrojazz Club ja Kulttuurikameleontit ry, alussa v. 2018 toimintaa oli käynnistämässä myös Kilombo ry. Tapahtuma toteutetaan pääosin Helsingin kaupungin tuella, myös Musiikin Edistämissäätiö (MES) on tukenut tapahtumaa. Yhteistyökumppaneina ovat Think Africa ja Afro Sunday. ❤ Afrojazz Club goes Alppipuisto event has gathered people together since 2018 and the executive producer is Kulttuurikameleontit ry. For the seventh time in the “Alppipuiston kesä” series (free summer picnics in the Alppipuisto park in Helsinki) there will be a full afternoon consisting of live music of African origin in Alppipuisto. In the year 2020 “Alppipuiston Kesä” were transferred indoors to Tiivistämö, Suvilahti, as streamed events (in Helsinki-kanava). The producers of the event are Kulttuurikameleontit ry and Afrojazz Club, in the first year 2018 also Kilombo ry. The event is organised mainly with the support from the City of Helsinki, also the Music Promotion Centre (MES) have supported the event.
