About this concert
Ariya Nights returns to Café Berlin, the new cycle brought to us by Ogun Afrobeat. Ariya means “party” in the Yoruba language, and that is what Ogun Afrobeat delivers with every live performance, a very special party. Interpretations of African music from the 20th and 21st centuries will be added to the group's usual repertoire.

Ogun Afrobeat Biography
The band Ogun Afrobeat straight out of Madrid’s melting pot and already known as the pioneers of Spanish Afrobeat, was founded by Nigerian drummer, percussionist, and singer Akindiimeji Onasanya. The aim of his new musical project in his new hometown is primarily to make people dance furiously while pushing the boundaries of the genre and mixing the African roots with a manifold of international rhythms and styles.
