Amy Zou Biography
Amy Zou is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in Brooklyn NY. She spent her formative years playing classical piano and flute before channeling her love for singing, reading, and writing into songwriting. Now, she crafts genre-bending songs, layering in sonic complexity with cerebral metaphors and fictional worlds into her lyrics.
Her upcoming EP 'I’ve Been Looking For You' captures an ambient, avant-pop-leaning sound sieved through an experiential lens of self-discovery. It is a classic hero’s journey turned inward - a search for adventure within the confines of your bedroom, half-remembered dreams, and in the place between decisions.
